The Digital Iriscope is the top-of-the-range in our iriscope line. It offers the practitioner the ultimate in a clinical tool, providing power and flexibility.

The hardware consists of a specially built PC computer configured for photographic capture and manipulation. The computer is connected directly to the same patient stand and camera used in the video iriscope systems.

The system captures still video that is viewed in real-time through the video camera. It is simply a press of a button to capture your iris image. The image is then available for analysis via our IRIDOLOGY software. An overlay chart is provided in the system. This is fitted to the patient's iris photograph and automatically identifies body systems and components. Using the mouse pointer, the practitioner can point to any part of the iris and the software will identify the body part that position relates to. You can zoom in on the image and enhance the photo to highlight characteristics.  A number of different charts are available depending on the IRIDOLOGYsoftware installed.

We do not close this system so it can also be used for any other computer based tasks that you would like to implement.

The Digital Iriscope Notebook Pro is the product of many years research and development. By using a high quality notebook and video capture components ,together with our latest IRIDOLOGY software , a very high degree of image capture quality and simplicity has been achieved in a portable package - particularly using the Ultra-Lite Stand.

The instrument is battery powered ( or AC) and provides a large display capable of very high resolution. It can be cabled to a portable printer for high quality instant photographs.

The benefits of portability are enormous for those who travel with their work. The notebook has a  TV -OUT port to allow the display to be transferred to a TV monitor. For those involved in education , consulting or lecturing , this is of great benefit.

Optical Iriscopes

The Optical Iriscope is designed for those who wish an entry level clinical tool that provides photography, or for those who are actively involved in 35mm iris photography. A specially configured 35mm camera is provided with a simple light source for viewing. To make an exposure to print or slide film, an electronic flash is incorporated in the design for high quality images.

THE OPTICAL IRISCOPE is supplied with an attractive and durable stand. All movements lock to restrict vibration and distortion of subject.  The chin-rest offers precision movement and a forehead support. Twin lights are mounted on the stand, providing a variable light source. These lights are  adjustable for effective positioning.
